Yesterday Microsoft released the Windows 8 Consumer Preview for the public. A smaller, developer preview was previously available to all to try, and could be set up easily using a free VMware like Virtualbox. My HP Troubles Are Solved!

Lesson learned for me. I thought everybody at HP did not care at all for their customer. I made a crazy amount of phone calls trying to explain my problem, but no one would listen.
