Exclusive: Apple Recalls All ipod Nano 1st Gens only to send users Same ipod

Update: Apple inconsistent on what ipod will be replacement

After speaking with an Apple spokesman I have found that Apple is sending users of the Recalled First Gen ipod Nano a First Gen Ipod Nano. I believe I am the first to confirm this. So is it worth it? Get a brand new ship shape Nano but it’s the same old crap. Debatable. Are they just pulling old devices from their warehouse that have the same battery? Did they just change the battery? They may have just reproduced a few thousand of these products. But would they really go to the trouble of reproducing an old product rather than just shipping out new ones. A lot of questions remain about this good old ipod. Tell us what you think below. More coverage is coming soon.
