Google Kills Horrible Nexus Device

Google has killed one of their Nexus devices after only four months. Google’s awful nexus Q media player which we wrote about here seemed unfinished from the get-go, and finally Google has pulled it.

Google didn’t officially announce the end of this ill fated product, but the link to this product’s page was removed when the new Nexus line was added (as you can see in the screenshot below). One source who wished to remain anonymous also said that Google has halted manufacturing of the Q. The device was way overpriced, under-featured, and its’ competition included the popular Roku boxes, and the Apple TV. I was really surprised at how little this $300 cool-looking gadget did, but I could tell it would flop. And it did, and it’s gone, so now we can focus on the new nexus line.
