The big film studios and record companies try to brainwash us into believing that copyright infringement costs the US economy billions of dollars, and hundreds of thousands of jobs, but in the video today, Rob Reid shows just how outrageous their numbers are. For example, the projected number of jobs lost in the industry due to copyright was more than the number of jobs in the industry. This once again proves what BS bills like SOPA and PIPA are. They are not in the interests of the American people. In fact, in another video I included below, the speaker talks about the innovative spirit our country is losing due to strict copyright laws that are causing a read-only culture versus the read-write culture that the internet age was just starting to save.
