I just wanted to write about a rumor I’ve been hearing lately. Somehow a rumor about the iphone 5 being unlockable by finger print has spread.
I’m here telling you that the rumor is false. But that doesn’t mean you can’t necessarily. If you dream of using the creases in your pointer finger to unlock your device, there is an option (or several). You can always try Fingerprint Security Scanner (free) which I recommend, or one of the many other options available. If you really want more security with your data, check out these tips.
These apps use multitouch, and a semi-realistic interface to give you the experience of unlocking your phone with a fingerprint. While it adds no real security to your phone, it is kind of fun to play with. Enjoy.
