“I NEED it”. Yes you do. Not all apps make it into the essential category, but when it comes to apps for new iPhone users, none are more vital (yes, vital) than these 7 apps. Some of these are popular apps, others not-as-popular, but they are all necessary for you to get the most out of your iPhone.
- facebook:(Free) Stay connected with your friends. Connect with friends from the past. Stalk your friends. The Facebook app lets you blow off time viewing vacation photos, playing games (new in latest release), and updating your friends on your every move.
- angry birds: An age old classic which addicts anyone who downloads it. This puzzle game is available in a free version but once you’re hooked and need more levels you can move on to the $.99 paid version for tons more toppling fun. This game is sure to brighten your day. Here’s a video on it.
- Pandora: Stream great free music to your iphone, ipod, or ipad and run the music in the background while you read, play games, or get work done. Discover new music, and make your own channels on this great app.
- ibooks: (Free) Read literally thousands of free books from Joke books to classics, or buy the latest hit novel. This app is “really great”.
- PS express: (Free) This App brings advanced photo editing to the iphone… for free. There are some nice expansion packs too but the starter features should be plenty for most iphotographers.
- Scrabble: Cure Boredom and grow your vocabulary. If you want more social features than advanced features then try a different app “Words With Friends” which is very similar.
- Pages: Get Work done on the road. I once wrote an entire newspaper article when I was on a deadline in proper format and with a picture. The features are advanced for a phone and the interface is very easy and not buggy. A life Saver
