We’ve Been Acquired… by Walmart

Dear Readers,

I am happy to announce that The App Store Chronicle technology blog will be joining the Walmart family. Why would a jumbo-retailer want to buy a small technology blog? Who knows, and who cares.

The important thing is that we’ll still be publishing the same incredible content as always…with a few changes.

Here are the few minor changes we had to make to finish this deal.

• We can no longer use the words “app”, “technology”, “smartphone”, or “computer” in any future reviews.
• We can only review products readily available at Walmart, and only positively, under all circumstances.
• Each month we must publish one article suiting each category of item available at Walmart. New sections you’ll soon see will include “apparel, shoes, and Jewelry”, “pharmacy, health, and beauty”, and of course “gifts, crafts, and party supplies”.

Additionally, since we are now part of a major corporation, we will no longer respond to any queries, questions, comments, or urgent cries for help.
