Google’s Self-Driving Car Still Going Strong

After over 300,000 miles of testing in real traffic, Google says its’ self-driving car is getting nearer and nearer to completion. According to Google there are at least twelve of their cars on the road testing at all times and they have yet to have an accident with one of them.

Their goals for the future include figuring out how to adjust for snow and just perfecting the algorithm, but with what they already have, they seem reasonably close to being able to implement this. A self-driving car would require all kinds of regulatory approvals but Google’s vast resources can move that along quickly, so get pumped for the self-driving car.
