Why Old People Should Love Youtube

Youtube is only for young people? No. Inside, Youtube is more than just funny cat videos, and airplane crashes. Youtube has amassed a massive archive of historic television programs, music, and more from various sources which make the national archives look like your local library. From Milton Berle, to Alfred Hitchcock, Carol Burnett, Bill Cosby, and many more, Youtube has a collection with variety and quality that is unmatched. You can watch classic movies such as Cinema Paradiso (1988), and classic television shows such as The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Log on to Youtube, and look up your parent/grandparent’s favorite television or radio program from their childhood. If the copyright monsters haven’t gotten to them yet, they will likely be on Youtube in some form. I know my grandparents greatly enjoyed rewatching Milton Berle, and I enjoyed watching Hogan’s Heroes. I even went out and bought the DVDs afterwords. So give it a try. Log on and check it out.
