Youtube Case Study: Use A Tripod

Today I saw a video on the Tube that was so shaky that I had to share it. Allow me to emphasize: Use a tripod!!!!!!!!

It literally makes a decent video unwatchable. Here’s the video from Youtuber “successfulblogging”. To all- Take my advice and use a tripod when possible. When you don’t, use a stack of books or something else flat on a table or chair as a tripod. This is a tried and tested backup plan. If you don’t have that available then bring a micro tripod such as a Gorillapod. I have one and it works perfectly. I would use my regular tripods any day but Gorillapods do the job. If you need it to be handheld then hold the camera on the side with one hand and the bottom with the other. Use provided camera straps and hold your wrists close together. This will help to stabilize your camera. Trust me. It makes the difference. Give it a try.
