How To Get ibooks Textbooks internationally (ie Australia)

I’ve seen the international world (especially Australia) panicking today because ibooks textbooks are technically not available outside the US and a few other places right now. It’s actually quite simple how to do it. Basically you need an account in the U.S itunes store which can be achieved by following our post on getting Angry Birds in South Africa. Go to that link and follow the step by step textbook instructions and you will have ibooks 2.0 for ipad with interactive textbooks immediately. Note that it is not available for iphone, and ipod touch, and you will have to get the US version. If you are weary of doing this then just wait a few months. They will probably open ibooks textbooks up to the world with the release of ipad 3.

Enjoy
